Why I Run

I am so proud to run for the National Kidney Foundation at the NYC Marathon this year in honor of my mom, Michelle, a true warrior who has prevailed over incredible odds. Through years of dialysis and four kidney transplants, she has demonstrated unparalleled courage, resilience, and an unwavering spirit that inspires me every day.

Right now, 37 million American adults are living with kidney disease. Team Kidney is about spreading awareness and funding research that could change lives. Most importantly, it's about giving hope, fueled by the incredible stories of people like my mom. I hope to celebrate her strength and grit, and that of every person affected by kidney disease, on November 3rd.
