Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, it means the world to me! Made it through my longest run on Sunday, and I'm feeling ready to crush the race in just two weeks time. Couldn’t have done it without all of you and your support!!!

Why I Run
In 2020, my brother and I were both diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease (PKD). PKD is one of the most common, life-threatening genetic diseases and is a condition my family has lived with for generations with both my mother and grandmother also suffering from PKD.
Only a few months after my brother and I were diagnosed, we lost our grandmother to PKD after a long and hard battle involving multiple kidney failures, a transplant, and countless days spent on dialysis. She defied all odds and expectations living over 20 years beyond her first kidney failure. The kidney transplant my grandmother received granted her the privilege to meet all of her grandchildren and watch them grow up which was previously inconceivable.
I am running the NYC Marathon in memory of my grandmother and to raise funds that support the National Kidney Foundation. Your contribution will help to fund innovation in kidney disease research, advocacy, and transplantation. While there is currently no cure for PKD, ample research is being done and new treatments have been developed that can dramatically slow the rate of kidney function decline in people with PKD.
Join me in making these advances possible by donating to my efforts and help build hope for a future without suffering—for every person in this fight.
